Rotterdam was the hosting city of the WCO Teams Event 2022 in The Netherlands. Teams from a variety of countries competed in an event that was broadcasted live!

North American teams and European teams were facing off to win this prestigious event. For the European players, this was the first time they competed in a broadcast event. At the Topsportcentrum in Rotterdam, they did show that Europe has great potential and can make life difficult of the North American players.

Especially the German and French players stood out, making it very difficult for the North American teams to win this event. The winning team, that included Justin Stranger and Cory Gilbert amongst others, almost took the loss against the French team but recovered just in time.

It was a memorable night for all players and visitors that were present in Rotterdam. The first ACL Europe Open was a major success and the WCO was happy to play its role in growing the sport in Europe. In 2023, the team event will be back and be branded as the official Cornhole World Cup!
